Register a new app

Users see the name, description, website and permissions on the consent screen. Everything except the client type can be changed later.

Description (optional) Logo URL (optional) Redirect URIs (one per line) Matched exactly. Use https or a custom scheme; http is allowed only for localhost and 127.0.0.1. Up to 10.

Client type

Public
Websites, browser apps and native apps that cannot keep a secret. PKCE only, no client secret. Confidential
Server-side apps that can keep a secret. PKCE plus the client secret when exchanging codes and refreshing tokens.

The client type cannot be changed after registration.

Permissions

Adding a permission later disconnects every connected user until they approve the app again. Removing one never disconnects anyone.
